Canes Chicken
Ingredients:
• 4 boneless chicken breasts
• 1/2 cup of prepared Cane’s sauce
• 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons of hot sauce
• 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
• 2 tablespoons of paprika
• 1 teaspoon of black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
• 4 tablespoons of butter
• 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a small bowl, combine the Cane’s sauce, mayonnaise, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine.
3. Place chicken breasts in a large bowl. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, and use your hands to ensure that the chicken is evenly coated.
4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt the butter and olive oil in the skillet.
5. Place the chicken breasts in the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
6. Place the chicken in a baking dish and cover with foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.

While the origins of Canes Chicken remain unknown, the restaurant was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1996 by Todd Graves and Craig Silvey.
